Twelve linked wallets. 493.8 SOL out. One sweep.

$YAP was created on pump.fun by a launch wallet, and the create transaction was co-signed by a second wallet that made the dev buy (3.46%). That wallet and eleven others are tied together by direct token transfers, a shared funding pattern and a same-slot sweep. Together they held 10.6% of supply 54 minutes after launch, sold for a net 493.8 SOL, opened the 29 Sep crash with four sells in one block, and three hours later sent 435.8 SOL to a single address in one slot.

Reading$YAP is sold as a way to pay people who post about a token out of its creator fees. On-chain, the wallet that co-signed the launch and made the dev buy sits at the center of a 12-address cluster that took 493.8 SOL out of the pool. The same wallet also received 1.73 SOL of the creator-fee payouts. Whether this is one operator is a question for the team (§08). Every step below links to a transaction you can open yourself.

§01 · The question

Who got paid: posters or sellers?

According to useyap.fun (accessed 2026-09-29), creator fees are claimed on a schedule, 10% goes to YAP, and the rest is split by score among holders who post. The GeckoTerminal token description says: "We have paid out over $80,000 to users."

“The wallet that co-signed your launch and made the dev buy was also paid as a poster. Its cluster took 493.8 SOL out of the pool. Who controls it?”

The payout mechanism is visible on-chain. The creator wallet DL6dGM…AM6X runs CollectCreatorFee / CollectCoinCreatorFee claims, sends single transfers to 6XydSP…qPhx (about 8.7% of claimed SOL in the sample, close to the stated 10%), and pays batches of up to 12 wallets. From 28 Sep it also pays some recipients in $YAP, and on 29 Sep it buys $YAP to do so.

We do not claim a promise was broken. Payouts are happening. The finding is who received some of them: the dev-buy co-signer A8GPSG…cRrk got 1.7334 SOL in three payout batches on 25 Sep (0.6072 49pS8r3c…qRw5oc, 0.7490 29skcwf1…8DcT6j, 0.3771 SwhCp8RW…MafmPX).

The estimate is wide because only 200 of 5,193 transactions were read. Exact totals need every creator-wallet transaction, which anyone can compute from the address above.

§03 · Money path

How the cluster moved

Launch → supply → linked wallets → pool → sweep → exchange-profile deposit. Red edges are direct transfers visible in single transactions.

Flow: the dev-buy co-signer and three slot-5 buyers took 9.23% of supply in the first six slots. The dev-buy wallet sent 25.09M YAP to two wallets, which passed 7M on to three more. The 12 wallets netted +493.8 SOL from the pool over 254 trades. On 29 Sep ten of them sent 435.8 SOL to one address, which sent 441.0 SOL to a deposit-profile address that forwarded it to a hot wallet holding about 900K SOL. Three others sent 172.8 SOL to a second collection address.

01Launch

A launch wallet, and a co-signer who bought

On 2026-09-25 at 14:05:09 UTC, DL6dGM…AM6X created $YAP with pump.fun CreateV2. The transaction had a second signer, A8GPSG…cRrk, which bought 34.61M $YAP (3.46%) for 1.01 SOL in the same instruction set.

The mint ends in …dyap rather than pump.fun's usual …pump, but the launch program is pump.fun (6EF8rr…wF6P). The token is Token-2022. Mint and freeze authority are both revoked. The curve completed and MigrateV2 opened the PumpSwap pool 6 min 4 s after creation (3ZaeELBb…Uw9ror). Current supply is 909,599,677 after burns (launch supply 1,000,000,000).

The creator wallet is the one YAP's site says it generates for each launch ("a fresh wallet ... signs the create itself"). It received its only funding, 1.8037 SOL, 28 minutes earlier through two single-use hops from 3bYC3N…D3BY. That address had created another pump.fun token at 13:34:18 (3ajKzP35…6yLNpG). The same dev-buy wallet A8GP… co-signed that earlier create too. A8GP… and cluster wallet 9AvEYz… both sold the earlier token in the same slot at 13:37:03.

02First slots

Slots 0–5: 40.3% bought, 9.23% by the cluster

In the creation slot, six buys took 17.55% of supply: the dev buy at index 359 and five other wallets at indexes 711–842. By slot 5 (~2 s), 27 buys had taken 40.32%. Cluster wallets hold 9.23% of that: the dev buy plus three slot-5 buys by 4XMC6J…8rqo, BHYJ9k…JHvQ and 9AvEYz…YeVG.

The three slot-5 cluster buys are separate transactions (indexes 727, 729 and 1044) routed through the same trading program, 3Ekz65…jpNR. No other slot 0–5 buyer used it. The other slot-0 buys used different bot programs, and their wallets are high-activity addresses with no funding or transfer link to the cluster in this dataset. We do not count them. No single transaction or Jito bundle ties the slot-0 buys together: the create sits at index 359 and the next buy at 711.

03Links

How the twelve addresses connect

Every cluster address has at least one direct on-chain link to another: a $YAP transfer outside the market, a co-signature, or a same-slot SOL transfer to the collection address in Finding 06.

Token transfers. At 17:10:12 on 25 Sep, the dev-buy wallet sent 13,695,539 $YAP to 9AvEYz… and 11,394,499 to 6U8f1Y…TPmr in the same slot, with no SOL in return. 9AvEYz… later passed 3M, 2M and 2M to three more wallets, which sold them.

Funding pattern. Seven cluster wallets made their first transaction within about six hours, from 21:36 on 4 Aug to 03:37 on 5 Aug, and three more on 30 Jul. Each of these ten received a first deposit of 2.7–3.8 SOL. Three of them (A8GP…, 6U8f…, 9AvEYz…) were funded by single-use wallets that received SOL and forwarded all of it within seconds. On 13 Aug, A8GP… and 6U8f… were topped up again by two more single-use wallets 59 seconds apart.

Synchronized activity. Beyond $YAP, A8GP…, 9AvEYz…, 6U8f… and GYbf… traded another token in the same seconds between 16:23 and 16:28 on 29 Sep, and closed token accounts through the same close-account tool within one minute (16:37–16:38).

Sold into the run-up to the 26 Sep peak

The cluster netted +219.8 SOL on 25 Sep and +291.0 SOL on 26 Sep, when $YAP reached its high (~$5.6M on the PumpSwap pool's hourly candle). It bought back on 27–28 Sep (−161.4 SOL) and sold everything left on 29 Sep (+144.4 SOL).

On 25 Sep, three wallets sold in bursts of near-identical sells, each taking at most ~2.02 SOL out of the pool. A8GP… made 27 sells of 1.6–2.02 SOL between 17:52 and 18:26; 9AvEYz… made 16 sells of 1.6–2.02 SOL between 15:17 and 16:08; 6U8f… made 28 sells of 1.6–2.02 SOL between 17:16 and 17:44. On 26 Sep the largest single cluster sell was 9AvEYz… selling 6.03M for 98.1 SOL at 23:42 (DSHYk34K…BxDzMs). 05Crash

Four sells in one block opened the crash

In slot 451,657,691 (29 Sep, 13:38:48 UTC), four cluster wallets sold 16,500,346 $YAP for 144.43 SOL, at transaction indexes 1017, 1024, 1029 and 1038. 9AvEYz…'s 8.27M sell was the largest single sell of the day up to that moment. The block came at the start of the move that took the market cap from ~$1.4M to ~$100K within the day.

A trading bot (MriyaNN8…) bought in between them at indexes 1018, 1025 and 1047. That is ordinary back-running and is not attributed to the cluster.

The largest seller in the window is not in the cluster. Wallet 6vbrTL…paFa sold 40.12M $YAP in three relayed transactions between 13:41:16 and 13:41:28, 148 seconds after the cluster's block. Across its 42 $YAP transactions it bought 61.47M (56.0M in 33 self-signed buys for 265.4 SOL, plus 5.47M in four relayed buys whose SOL leg is not visible on this wallet) and sold all 61.47M in five sells for 355.5 SOL. We found no on-chain link between this wallet and the creator wallet, the dev-buy wallet or any cluster address in the data we read (see Limitations). Timing alone is not a link.

06Sweep

Nine wallets, one slot, one destination

In slot 451,695,882 (29 Sep, 16:29:56 UTC), nine cluster wallets each sent SOL to 5dJXCn…5G11. GYbf… followed at 16:30:38. Total from the cluster: 435.80 SOL.

At 16:39:06, 5dJXCn… sent 441.00 SOL to 963Z3o…KpXK (4tcVfVtJ…cMXzXm). Four minutes later that address forwarded all of it to 5tzFki…uAi9 (2vTvNZCa…zuzoXu), which holds 900,179 SOL and makes about 1,000 transactions an hour. That is the profile of a centralized-exchange deposit address and hot wallet. The same hot wallet funded A8GP… on 22 Sep in a batch payment. We do not name the exchange.

A second collection address, 6HQRZW…UqZY, received 172.75 SOL from three cluster wallets (5dTdd… and BPBC… 36 seconds apart on 28 Sep, and 6U8f… on 26 Sep; 3Hsnu9m7…nMRFia, 2hUFwvw2…LS7NCo, 2njnY1sn…TbEUaM), plus 62.9 SOL from A8GP… in seven transfers between 13 Aug and 23 Sep.

Right after the sweep, lookalike addresses (4XMCPFHx…, GYbfJdNi…, 963ZUxCQ…) sent zero-value transactions. That is an address-poisoning pattern aimed at people who copy addresses from history. It is unrelated to the cluster.

To the $YAP team

This report does not establish who controls these addresses. That is the first question.

Who controls A8GP…, the wallet that co-signed the $YAP create and made the 3.46% dev buy? Is it the team?
The same wallet co-signed another pump.fun create 31 minutes earlier, and that token's creator funded the $YAP launch wallet. Was the first launch a test, and whose funds were forwarded?
Why did the dev-buy wallet send 25.09M $YAP to two other wallets for no SOL, and who controls those wallets?
Is this one entity? Nine of the twelve wallets sent SOL to the same address in a single slot.
How does the scoring decide payouts, and why did the dev-buy wallet receive 1.73 SOL of creator-fee payouts?
Will YAP publish its full payout ledger (claims, recipients, amounts) so the "$80,000 paid out" figure can be checked against the chain?

§09 · Methodology

How this was measured

Data

Raw Solana mainnet transactions (getTransaction, jsonParsed, maxSupportedTransactionVersion 0, retried with 1 for v1 transactions). SOL movements come from pre/post lamport balances, including lookup-table accounts. $YAP and wSOL movements come from pre/post token balances.
Scope: all 1,786 bonding-curve signatures (the first 150 slots read in full, with in-block order from getBlock), every $YAP token-account transaction of the 12 cluster wallets and of 6vbr…, full histories of the dev-buy wallet and three linked wallets from 25 Sep, and the sweep window of 5dJXCn….
Holders: one getProgramAccounts snapshot of Token-2022 accounts filtered by mint.
The crash-window seller list uses the GeckoTerminal public trade feed (last 24 h, ≥ $2,000), with owners resolved on-chain. Candles are GeckoTerminal OHLCV for the PumpSwap pool.
2,514 RPC requests in total, logged by the collection scripts.

Cluster construction

Seed: the create co-signer A8GP….
An address was added only on a direct on-chain link: a $YAP transfer from a cluster wallet outside the market, or a same-slot SOL transfer to the cluster's collection address 5dJXCn… in the 29 Sep sweep.
Creation times, funding sizes and synchronized trading are shown as supporting context. No address was added on timing, size or profitability alone.

Profit and loss

A trade is a transaction that changes the wallet's $YAP balance and moves SOL on the bonding curve (CvihxX…), the PumpSwap pool (Ax9Gpo…) or the Meteora pool (8AXvMG…). There are 254.
Net SOL = the wallet's SOL + wSOL balance change across those transactions, net of protocol fees, creator fees, priority fees and tips.
Peak holding = the running sum of the 12 wallets' $YAP balance changes in slot order. Transfers between them cancel out.

Creator fees

Systematic sample: every 26th of the creator wallet's 5,193 successful transactions (200 read). Each was classed as a claim, a transfer to 6XydS…, a SOL payout batch, a $YAP buy for payouts, or a $YAP payout. Totals = sample × 5,193 / 200, and the 95% range comes from 2,000 bootstrap resamples.

Every number on this page can be recomputed from evidence.json, which lists every signature used.

§10 · Limitations

What this does not prove

Lower bound

The cluster is 12 addresses with a direct link. Wallets linked only through exchanges, deeper single-use chains or off-market arrangements are not included. The real footprint can only be larger.

Identity not proven

Nothing here identifies a person or a team. Whether the dev-buy co-signer belongs to the YAP team, a launch client or someone else is an open question (§08). Third-party wallet labels were not used as evidence.

Fees are estimated

Creator-fee claims and payouts come from a 200-transaction sample, so the ranges are wide. The dev-buy wallet's 1.73 SOL of payouts is exact. Other cluster wallets received no payouts in the histories we read, but payouts in unread creator-wallet transactions cannot be ruled out.

6vbr… not linked

We checked 6vbr…'s 42 $YAP transactions, the dev-buy wallet's full history, three cluster wallets' histories since 25 Sep, all cluster $YAP transactions and the sweep. None connects to 6vbr…. We did not read its ~10,000 other transactions.

Funding origin

Cluster wallets were funded through single-use wallets at least two hops deep. We stopped there, so the ultimate source of the funds is not established.

Prices and cut-off

SOL = $119.03. Market cap, volume and candles come from DEX Screener and GeckoTerminal and were not re-derived on-chain. Data runs to 2026-09-29 23:50 UTC.
